Creating an Actionable Plan for Healthier, More Equitable Communities

Summary
A regional non-profit bringing together multi-sector partners across three states needed an updated strategic plan to advance healthier, more equitable communities. The staff wanted a plan that was actionable, measurable, and served as a guide for their day-to-day work.
We engaged with 50+ staff and the Board of Directors to design a comprehensive and actionable strategic plan and implementation plan.
Conducted an all-staff survey
Facilitated focus groups and key informant interviews
Facilitated strategic planning sessions with multiple teams
Coordinated a strategic planning committee
Developed an implementation plan, tools, and resources
Created an evaluation framework for measuring plan effectiveness
The work strengthened internal alignment, the capacity to measure progress on key goals, and created a framework for collaborative implementation of the plan.
