Convening the Public Health Career Summit

The slashing of key public health programs and funding sources in early 2025 left large numbers of early-career professionals without the resources and guidance needed to build a career in public health - thereby threatening essential public health workforce pipelines. With support from two national public health organizations, WE Public Health rapidly convened a virtual career development summit for 500 early-career professionals. 

• Engaged and prepared over 30 career experts  to participate in the summit

• Offered one-on-one career coaching

• Created networking opportunities for professional connections

• Provided practical tools for career development 

• Fostered a welcoming environment for learning and inspiration

All summit resources were made available to registrants, along with an online library for continued learning.
